Assisted Living

The Meadows

To effectively serve our residents, we offer four styles of apartments. The apartment layouts include a studio apartment, a one-bedroom apartment, and a one-bedroom plus apartment and a deluxe apartment. Each apartment was built with a kitchenette, a walk-in shower, and plenty of storage throughout.


We offer a wide variety of individualized plans that allow tenants to live out their ideal retirement. Our recreational programs cover a wide range of interests, such as daily coffee clubs and cruising the Mississippi River. Additionally, we prepare and serve three delicious meals daily. We encourage you to invite your family and friends to come and share in the dining experience with you in our intimately designed dining room.

Library

Our library is full of great books and we bring new books from the Manchester Library every two weeks for you to enjoy in our comfortable Library.

Resident Mail

As a tenant you will have your own private mailbox with your own key. The United States Postal Service delivers and picks up mail daily. (Except Sundays and Federal Holidays)

Meals

In our full service dining room you will enjoy three freshly prepared satisfying meals a day.

Courtyard

Sit down and enjoy the fresh aroma of flowers and the sound of flowing water in our one of a kind courtyard.

Beauty Salon

We create a warm, caring environment for you. Relax and Rejuvenate yourself in our relaxing beauty salon.

Family Gathering Areas

Sharing our lives with our loved ones is important. We have many gathering rooms on campus to serve groups from 2-200.

Overnight/Out Of Town Guests – The Meadows offers you the opportunity to have guests spend the night with you. The only additional charge for overnight guests is the cost of the meals.

Visiting Family and Friends – There are no restrictions on the length of time a Tenant can be away from The Meadows. However, a request we have for leaving, is for you to sign-out/sign-in so we can account for everyone’s whereabouts in the event of an emergency

Good Neighbor Society – It does not matter if you’re hosting for the afternoon or for the weekend, Good Neighbor Society can help. Our campus offers event rooms to accommodate up to 200 people. Rooms are saved on a first-come first-serve basis at no extra charge

Exercise Room

Our exercise room will meet your exercise needs. Train anytime of the day or night in a safe & secure environment.

Cable TV

Each of our apartments comes standard with basic cable TV at no extra cost.

Activities

Our activity programming is designed to entertain and satisfy all your senses. With a wide range of activities from a daily social hour to a Mississippi River Cruise we are sure you will find something you love.

Laundry Services

Our laundry room is stocked with everything you need to do your laundry, and if you would like we will even do it for you.

Safety

Each tenant has 24 hour access to immediate service just one click away. You will be given a pendant to wear, which alerts our nursing team and they will assist you within minutes.

Transportation

We will provide you with transportation to local medical appointments and we offer weekly shopping trips to local stores to help take care of your personal needs.

Above all else we believe in being kind to one another and nothing will impress you more than our service team at the Good Neighbor Society.

Church Services

Faith runs deep in the Good Neighbor Society and we offer many spiritual services throughout the week to fulfill your spiritual needs.

Church Services – Ecumenical Services – 10:45 A.M. Sunday; all faiths are welcome

Devotions – 9:00 A.M daily

Catholic – Mass: GNH Main Chapel-Thursdays 2:00 P.M. *Communion: Offered following Sunday Service (based on Catholic Volunteers) – Rosary: 9:30 A.M Daily

Protestant – Offered by each denomination and scheduled at various times in the month

Video Services- Available upon request from carious local churches

Bible Study – 3:15 P.M. Thursday; All faiths are welcome

Chaplain Services- Your spiritual needs are valued at the Good Neighbor Society. In order to meet your needs, we have a Chaplain on our team to meet your needs as they arise. Additionally, we will contact the clergy of your choice at your direction.

Garage Access

Above all else we believe in being kind to one another and nothing will impress you more than our service team at the Good Neighbor Society.

Cleaning Services

At The Meadows you decide how much housework you want to do and leave the rest to our dedicated team.
